Many teachers are asked to write tons of recommendation letters from students. It is a good idea to give the teacher a sort of resume of the student so that the teacher can write something personal and specific about the student.

Someone gave me this advice that you can ask a prospective recommendation letter writer to write for a job and watch the response of the would-be employer. If your child gets the job, then, you can assume the teacher wrote a good recommendation letter on your child's behalf.

Thanks for the information.
How can you make sure that the teacher that your child chooses will write a strong recommendation?
